Political Front

Chinese President Hu Jintao is scheduled to arrive in the United States tomorrow for the historic meeting with U.S. President George Bush. Some issues that will be addressed include copyright theft, currency rates and markets barriers

Others that have been invited to meet with President Bush include King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco, President Olusegun Okikiola Aremn Obasanjo of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and President Mwai Kibaki of the Republic of Kenya.

Before President Hu Jintao heads to Saudi Arabia on April 22, 2006, he will make three stops here in the United States .His first stop will be to meet with Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) founder Bill Gates along with Boeing (NYSE: BA) in Seattle Washington, his second will be to Yale University and then his last will be the Nations Capital to meet with President Bush.

China is looking to be a global player and President Hus globetrotting is part of the map that China has laid out, so it will be interesting to see what comes out of not only his visit to Washington D.C but his visit to Seattle, Washington.

Citigroup Set for Earnings

Citigroup (NYSE: C) is set to announce their earnings today and based on their performance as of late they may beat the analyst estimate of $1.02 per share. The company has a lot of things going their way with the recent lifting of the ban on big acquisitions, Citigroup may be gearing up for some additional growth.
