You may also want to consider buying the domain names such as if you wanted www.horse-shoes.com also buy www.horse-shoes.org and .biz and .us This can help ensure that someone doesnt take any business from you simply by buying your name and replacing the .org .net .us .biz etc. If you have an already establish a company name and already well known then you would want to obviously choose that as your domain name.
